What has endeared me to this blogger, and spurred me to comparatively frequent comment, is that Will does not hesitate to share his learning process. He may be a social media expert, but he is the Everyman Expert, vulnerable to frustrations and the occasional hiccup; not too cool to share a newbie's wonder. The courage to be real is what makes someone credible. Thanks again, Will, for genuine reports from the prow.

Will, I'm sure everyone else is thrilled, as am I, that you found this prestigious new position. I liken this to graduating or moving to a new city for work. Know that the water cooler will always be there for you when you choose to visit. And, as for not being online all day, now you'll see what I meant about prescheduling the bulk of my tweets :-)

I am frustrated by Facebook, in its current form, but as an aggregator of authentic interest, it is at the top of the heap. I spent my childhood gathering info through libraries--pre-computer. Interesting to consider how that information was gathered and disseminated by research/info specialists, as opposed to the info provided by Google, accrued by gamers, impulsive searchers and such. Much food for thought.
